Kit Description

Specific kit for the qualitative, rapid and specific detection of Citrus tristeza Virus (CTV) in plant samples of the Citrus genus.

Il virus Citrus tristeza (CTV) è uno dei più importanti agenti causali delle malattie degli agrumi, seppur sia stato rilevato in numerose altre specie.

Transmission is primarily due to humans, through the use of diseased propagation material, and through aphid vectors. Epidemics of this virus are causing the death of millions of citrus trees in many regions of the world.

CTV causes different disease syndromes depending on the viral strain, the citrus variety and the scion-rootstock combination.

These syndromes, which manifest themselves with varying degrees of severity, are referred to as squick decline, seedling yellow, system pitting and smold as slow decline.

The Kit is composed of

Reagents

To perform rapid DNA extraction and specific gene amplification with LAMP technology

BADGE (RFID)

Contains all information relating to the kit, including the lot number and expiration date

TABLET WITHIN ICGENE APP

With real-time results of CTV research in the analyzed plant samples

RAPID BIOMOLECULAR
ANALYSIS

Automatic interpretation of results

The system allows automatic interpretation of the results, real-time visualization and online availability. The sigmoid curves sigmoid curves in correspondence with the positive (+) samples indicate the presence of CTV. The straight indicate that the analyzed samples are negative (or) for CTV.
