Specific kit for the qualitative, rapid detection of canine parvovirus and feline panleukopenia in stool samples or rectal swabs

Leishmaniasis is a parasitic disease widespread throughout the world caused by a protozoan (Leishmania infantum) transmitted by blood-sucking insects (phlebotomine sandflies).
It affects dogs and cats, as well as numerous wild animal species that contribute to maintaining the parasite's presence in the environment. Leishmaniasis is a serious zoonosis, especially in Mediterranean regions, and in humans it can appear cutaneous or systemic, requiring hospitalization.
Diagnosis is based on the detection of specific antibodies or by searching for the parasite or its DNA in the affected tissues (lymphoid system, skin, mucous membranes, bone marrow).
In the endemic areas clinical diagnosis is often difficult, symptoms are sometimes not pathognomonic and may appear when it is too late for therapy.
The kit allows you to identify the most frequent species in Europe: Leishmania infantum and Leishmania donovani.

With real-time results of Leishmania spp. detection in lymph node needle aspiration samples
The system allows for automatic interpretation of results, real-time visualization, and online availability. Sigmoid curves corresponding to positive (+) samples indicate the presence of Leishmania spp. Straight lines indicate that the analyzed samples are negative (o) for Leishmania spp.
