Specific kit for the qualitative, rapid and specific detection of Flavescence dorée in plant samples.

Guignardia citricarca is a fungus that causes citrus black spot, a devastating disease that significantly reduces citrus production by promoting premature fruit drop.
Furthermore, the unsightly lesions make them unmarketable.
Symptoms on the fruit include lesions of varying sizes, from small black spots to large lesions that reach the pulp. G. citricarpa can attack all species of the Citrus genus; some species are more susceptible to the fungus than others (lemon, orange), but to date, no resistant plants have been identified.
The disease is present in Asia, Africa, America and Oceania, while it has never been observed in Europe.
However, it is the object of particular attention as numerous interceptions of infected plant material have been reported at the borders and for this reason Guignardia citricarpa is included in the A1: 194 list of the EPPO (European and Mediterranean Plant Protection organization).

With real-time results of the search for Guignardia citricarpa in the analyzed samples
The system allows for automatic interpretation of results, real-time visualization, and online availability. Sigmoid curves corresponding to positive (+) samples indicate the presence of Guignardia citricarpa. Straight lines indicate that the analyzed samples are negative (o) for CTV.
