Specific kit for the qualitative, rapid and specific detection of Clostridium perfringens and spores in samples of water for human use, mineral water.

In industrialized countries, the modern concept of water resource protection and the development of increasingly effective water purification techniques have led to the virtual eradication of waterborne diseases, eliminating those caused by so-called "classical pathogens." On the other hand, the overexploitation of supply sources, the aging of treatment plants and distribution networks, and small- and large-scale climate change have favored the emergence of other waterborne diseases caused by some "emerging" pathogens. Among these is Campylobacter.
The natural habitat of most Campylobacter species is the intestines of birds and other animals. However, it can be detected in the environment and in drinking water following contamination by feces from infected animals or individuals. It is becoming increasingly important in Water Safety Plans*.

With real-time results of Campylobacter spp. detection in analyzed water samples
The system allows for automatic interpretation of results, real-time visualization, and online availability. Sigmoid curves corresponding to positive (+) samples indicate the presence of Campylobacter spp. Straight lines indicate that the analyzed samples are negative (o) for Campylobacter spp.
